A bit about me
Hi! I'm Jihyo from South Korea, and I've been living in Singapore for the past nine years. I am particularly interested in behavioral economics and how psychological factors influence decision-making. Recently, I carried out a research project looking at how financial scarcity affects risk-taking behavior, exploring how economic constraints can shape the choices people make in everyday life. I am currently conducting an individual research on how impulsive buying impacts consumer behavior especially on social media.
Outside of academics, I am a competitive rock climber. Climbing has taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of approaching challenges strategically which I also apply to my academic interests.
Through this organization, I hope to contribute by sharing insights from behavioral economics and therefore make these ideas more accessible to a wider audience. I look forward to working with everyone!
